“Sisters” on
PBS Independent Lens in December
“Sisters,” a Telly Award-winning documentary,
will have its national broadcast premiere on PBS (WDSE
Channel 8 in Duluth) December 20 at 10 p.m. Eastern Time,
9 p.m. Central Time.
“Sisters” is a fascinating, inside look
about the life of nuns at the St. Scholastica Monastery.
The program was produced by Tom Livingston and Jack Lind
of Pro Video Productions Inc., Duluth, and John Hanson
of Northern Pictures Inc., Bayfield. It’s a significant
accomplishment for a group of producers from a smaller
market to have a program aired on nationwide, network
television.
