Project Details
Through education, enforcement, outreach, and legislation, the bicycle safety program of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is helping to reduce bicycle injuries and fatalities. Bicycling is encouraged as an alternate mode of transportation to motor vehicle travel.

Pro Video has produced three bicycle safety videos for NHTSA. Using a visually stimulating, peer-to-peer approach, the videos show teen and pre-teen audiences the rules of the road, safe riding practices, and tips for purchasing and correctly fitting a bicycle helmet. The videos show children that wearing a bicycle helmet can protect them from serious injuries (including brain injuries) and death, and explain how to buy an approved bicycle helmet that fits correctly.
